Youyu Lu is a Research Scientist with the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and an Adjunct Professor of Department of Oceanography, Dalhousie University. His main areas of interest are numerical modelling of large-scale ocean variability, data analysis, study of physical oceanographic processes including circulation, mixing and air-sea interaction. Recently his focus is on applying the NEMO ocean model to study variations in the global, North Atlantic and Arctic oceans.
